Trinity Week 2017
The Faculty of Health Sciences is delighted to host this year’s programme of events for Trinity Week. The theme for the week is “Health in Our Changing World: Discover, Understand, Act”. The public is invited to participate in this week long programme which will will encompass a range of free interactive events, lectures and workshops.
Trinity Week commences at 10am on “Trinity Monday”, 10th April, when Trinity College Dublin celebrates the announcement of the Honorary Fellows, new Fellows and Scholars of the college. The ceremony is one of the oldest and most colourful at Trinity College and refers back to the foundation of Trinity College in 1592 as a corporation consisting of the Provost, the Fellows and the Scholars.
This is followed by a week of events including symposia, lectures, roundtable discussions and many other events around the theme of Health in Our Changing World, which will be of interest to the general public.
