Professor Lorraine O’Driscoll appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles
Professor Lorraine O’Driscoll has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV). ISEV is the global professional society for researchers from academia, clinical settings and industry who are involved in the study of microvesicles and exosomes (collectively termed EVs). Founded in 2012 in Sweden, ISEV has since moved its Headquarters to the United States. Through its programs and services, ISEV provides essential training and research opportunities for those involved in exosome and microvesicle research, with relevance to both healthy physiological states and multiple conditions and diseases including cancer, neurological, diabetes, but also with potential in regenerative medicine and drug delivery.
