Biography:
Michele Cleary holds a BSc in Natural Sciences from The Catholic University of America and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Genetics from Stonybrook University. She completed graduate research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory followed by postdoctoral training at Princeton University.
Michele has co-authored over 50 primary research papers in the fields of drug target biology, RNA interference, cell cycle, biomarkers, genomics, and oncology, and is co-inventor on numerous patents, including several for pioneering research on the role of microRNAs in cancer.
Michele works for Bristol Myers Squibb as Head of US Scientific Collaborations.
