Panoz Pharmaceutical Innovation PhD Scholarships

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences welcome applications for our Panoz Pharmaceutical Innovation PhD Scholarships for September 2024

These four-year funded PhD projects offer outstanding candidates the opportunity to work with world leading PI’s and researchers on the following projects:

  • Mechanistic and synthetic studies on integrin ligands in cell stress and bioprocessing
  • Capturing, understanding, and directing cellular heterogeneity in the biomanufacturing of cellular therapeutics
  • Optimising Medicines for Older Adults with Intellectual Disability using the OPTIMA-ID Tool
  • Theoretically informed and data-driven innovations in medication self-management and breast-feeding

The Panoz Scholarship Programme aims to create a new generation of leaders in pharmaceutical sciences with the hands-on research training, a range of transferable skills and personal qualities to make an impact on healthcare provision.

Successful candidates on the programme will receive training in research integrity, will be exposed to world leading speakers in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Seminar Series and will take one of the full Postgraduate Certificates in Innovation offered by Tangent as they develop their PhD projects. Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace, is housed in a world-class facility and offers students, staff, and the wider innovation ecosystem a place to come together to collaborate, build and innovate.

Full fees (EU) and stipend rate of €25,000 per year are covered. Provision for purchase of laptop in year 1 and contribution toward research conference travel costs each year.

One PhD scholarship per year to be awarded to an outstanding candidate from North America Panoz PhD Scholarship in Pharmaceutical Sciences (USA)
