A Celebration of our School’s Eminent Academics and Retirees

Monday 28th January from 6.30 pm in the Dinning Hall, Front Square.

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences hosted an event to thank and mark the retirements of our academics and colleagues: Ingrid Hook, Des Corrigan, John Clancy, and Owen Corrigan. Each of these individuals has made unique contributions not only to our School, but also to Irish and international pharmacy and so their presence in our midst will be missed.

Left: Paul Higgins Memorial Prize – Cahill May Roberts Ltd Prize in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
This prize is awarded to the student who attains the highest overall combined mark in modules PH3002 and PH4002.
Winner: Anne-Marie Carroll

Middle: Pfizer Healthcare Ltd.Prize in Pharmacology
This prize is awarded to the student who attains the highest overall combined mark in modules PH3009, PH3010, PH3011, PH4009 and PH4010.
Winner: Katie Timoney

Right: Sanofi Prize
This prize is awarded to the student who attains the highest overall combined mark in modules PH3003 and PH4003.

This prize is awarded for the best combined overall mark in the Junior Sophister year.

Middle: LEO Pharma Prize in Pharmaceutics
This prize is awarded to the student who attains the highest overall combined mark in modules PH4004 and PH4005.

Right: Pfizer Healthcare Ltd. Junior Freshman Pharmacy Prize
This prize is awarded for overall first place in the Junior Freshman Pharmacy Annual Examination.
Winners: Eibhlin Catherine, Mary Fitzpatrick and Kate O’Donnell.

Left: McNeil Pharmaceutical Prize
This prize is awarded to the student who attains the highest overall combined mark in modules PH4006, PH4007 (including electives)

Right: The Actavis Academy Senior Sophister Pharmacy Prize
This prize is awarded to the student who obtains the highest overall mark in the Pharmacy degree.
