RESEARCH INTERESTS
Tamasine's research focusses on medication safety. She is interested in this from a qualitative and quantitative perspective and has published widely on the topics of medication safety at care transitions, interprofessional learning and working to support medication safety, and the development and evaluation of interventions to enhance medication safety.
Tamasine's recent work adopts a systems-based approach to better understand and advance the systems underpinning medication management, and she applies this approach to professional and lay medication management. This focus is supported by strong collaborations with colleagues in the fields of human factors, systems engineering and cognitive/physical ergonomics.
Tamasine is also interested in scholarly research to enhance both Pharmacy education, and healthcare education to support safer medication practices.
Tamasine supports and drives engaged research, with a strong Patient and Public Involvement ethos and practice.
